The local clock in the park struck seven at night when a single male entered, three puppies of different breeds following him while playing around, happy to finally be outside where there was plenty of room to run around and enjoy themselves. Aaron couldn't help but smile as he watched them trying to keep up with his brisk face, sometimes tripping over their own paws or pouncing at one another when there was an opening to do so. He remembered the day he found the three of them on the streets before he got shipped off to the damned boarding school and carefully snuck them with him so they would have a home.
Finding a bench not too far from the entrance he carefully worked his way over to it and sat down, resting a laptop on his lap with a small sigh. There were now two reasons he wanted to talk the other male he had gotten to know over time after the incident in the chatroom earlier, knowing well enough Peter might not be in the greatest of the mood when he came by... if he still was going to at least. Honestly there were only two people that would manage to break down his anti-social shell very quickly and Peter was one of them, a part of him feeling like they had a few things in common somewhere along the lines.
His attire was simple today, merely being a pair blue jeans and a button up white polo shirt, though a part of him was regretting that he didn't bring along a jacket for warmth since a cold breeze seemed to enjoy blowing through every once and a while. It wasn't that he didn't mind the cold, he'd just rather be warm versus slightly chilly if he had the comfort of doing so. He was stilll adapting to the fact that the boarding school was luxury versus his homelife, but he didn't let anyone know how bad his past really was.
Carefully moving the laptop to place on the right side of the bench he watched the puppies tumble around in the grass, playful growls and yips being exchanged between them, causing Aaron to laugh softly under his breath as he closed his hazel eyes to relax. He was just happy to have given them something he never had when he was a child: a loving home where everything they needed to survive was given to them, along with the love of a 'parent' guiding them in the right path.
As a negative thought crossed his mind he opened his eyes, glaring lightly at the ground and trying to erase it. The chat was not about him, he couldn't let his emotions get in the way of talking with Peter about other things of interest. But would Peter really mind if he tried to talk about their pasts a little? Maybe he could find out, but first thing first would be to fill the other male in on some stuff he learned and to just make sure he was okay. After all, Aaron was actually beginning to see him as a potential friend he might be able to trust.

Peter didn't know if it was a good idea for him to be going out, but he figured it'd be good if he just got some fresh air and let things sink in. He looked down to his heels to Bogart, who was trailing loyally at his side. Peter couldn't believe the sin he had almost admitted. Asking Devon to kill him had been wrong and Peter knew it was stupid... he had almost left Bogart all alone. It was that thought that had saved Peter's life. If Ashton hadn't reminding him of that... then there would be no more Peter Walker and Bogart would be stuck with Carson. Peter couldn't let that happen. So here he was, walking to the park... half dead from lack of sleep.
Taking in a deep breath, Peter mulled over everything that had happened on the chat recently. There had been so much at one time that had gone down... Peter didn't know where to start. First it was when he had asked Devon to kill him, next there was Ashton reminding him of what he'd be leaving behind if that really happened, then there was the intense conversation with Devon where Peter really thought that he was getting somewhere, after that there was Ashton threatening to tell everyone about what he had asked Devon to do... which was a rather personal thing... and then there was just... Peter couldn't even continued to think about it.
Peter looked back down to Bogart once more, managing a smile. He hated how Bogart was drawn into everything. Peter couldn't do anything about the nightmares and he hated that, but mostly he hated that Bogart was affected by it. He licked his lips, staring ahead as he walked. The park seemed empty, then again, not many people went to the park at seven o'clock or later. Peter liked it because of that. He felt like it was easier on Bogart. Plus, the night air felt a lot more relaxing to Peter. As he walked a little further along the path he saw three puppies. Peter loved dogs... he was a huge dog fan. Bogart seemed to naturally be interested. The jack russell bolted toward the puppies before Peter could tell him to stay.
Following Bogart, Peter saw someone was with the puppies. He assumed this person was Aaron. Peter could remember smaller details from the picture online, but he didn't know if it was really Aaron. He got a little closer and finally realized that it was the boy he had come to talk to. "Hey there, Aaron." Peter said when he was within acceptable talking distance. "You wanted to talk?"

While waiting for Peter to arrive a thought entered Aaron's mind, a small frown crossing his lips as he carefully opened the laptop to wake it up out of it's idle mode. There was something he needed to show him that was possibly quite important, especially for the both of them to understand a little more about what Devon has been through and why he might be the way he was. The only reason he was able to track everything down was because of Landon and some of the things that were talked about in that time, causing the typically not-so-curious Aaron to look around and see if what Dev said was true. If it wasn't for the help of one of his cellmates when he went to jail for a brief period of time he wouldn't of found some of the stuff he did, and honestly it just made him want to help Dev even more than before.
When an odd silence seemed to occur from the pups his hazel gaze raised from the laptop to see them all gazing in one direction, soon after a jack russel appearing while the three of them tried to figure out how to react. It was Rocky, the akita pup, who reacted first by crouching down playfully, his tail wagging in a greeting. Terra, the alaskan malamute pup, followed in suit and started growling playfully, before randomly pouncing Sierra, the shy husky. And thus the playing assumed between the two of them while Rocky just watched for Bogart's reaction.
Holding back a small smile at their accepting behavior his gaze shifted as he heard a voice to his side, recognizing the holder of the voice as Peter almost immediately, a soft hum of acknowledgement given. Moving his hands away from the laptop he rest them on his legs, thinking carefully of what to say in order to not either upset him or to possibly scare him off. First thing first though was to go according to his plans and goals for the meeting, thus it was going to require him to try and social a bit more than he was used to with a semi-stranger, not that he didn't mind doing that with Peter at all.
"Hey Petey, there was a few things I wanted to talk about... but if your uncomfortable with certain ones, just let me know and I'll move on. I... don't want to push limits or anything..." Trailing off he quickly thought of what he was saying, realizing the last bit might sound different than he intended. "Not saying I'm going to be asking anything I wouldn't want to answer myself, after all... we are kind of strangers."
Well, that was out of the way, though he hated the fact that it seemed like he was uncertain at times because of his nature. He wasn't used to talking to people on this level, it was quite offbeat and harder than he expected really. But that didn't matter in the end, it was just trying to get to know Peter better and to just have a friendly talk that did, even if it meant showing that he was somewhat awkward with conversing.
"First thing though... I wanted to make sure you were doing okay. Your style of typing changed a little and I felt bad about making the meeting today if you weren't in the mood or anything... so if you think you want to hold it off just let me know. It... can wait if needed be."
Well, he was hoping that Peter was willing to stay and talk really, since holding this off might cause him to be more and more uncertain if he wanted to talk about this stuff or not. Besides, he would feel bad for not letting the puppies have their fun for a longer period of time and Rocky seemed to have taken an interest in Bogart, though at the time he wasn't exactly sure of why he would. Rocky was typically the one who ignored other dogs he didn't know, so seeing him being playful with a 'stranger' was quite odd.

Peter's eyes fell on the laptop. Maybe Aaron just wanted him to listen to some music. That wouldn't be hard. Peter liked listening to music and he liked knowing that other people on the island aspired to do something with it. Closing his eyes for a moment to stop his head from pounding, Peter ran a hand through his dark hair. As Peter reopened his honey brown eyes he focused them on Aaron. This was one of those moments where Peter wished that he could act like his normal self instead of whoever it was these nightmares had been turning him into. Peter was the kind of person normally who took pride in the fact that they could smile when everything seemed down on them, but lately Peter hadn't been smiling and he felt like a failure because of it.
Bogart seemed to be enjoying himself... the way he playfully tilted his head at the other dogs before jumping and barking. Peter watched his dog interact with the others, playfully jumping over them and rolling over on his back. Bogart had a way with other dogs the way Peter had a way with people. He loved watching Bogart play with other dogs. The only dog Bogart had gotten to lay with since coming to the island was Hobo, Ashton's dog. Even then, Peter had a sneaking suspicion that after that... Ashton never wanted anything to do with Peter as long as Bogart was able to play with Hobo. Peter tried to pretend that didn't matter to him. Bogart liked having a playmate and Peter wanted to focus on that.
When Aaron began to speak Peter suddenly knew that this wasn't about music. The way Aaron talked made it sound like it was something deeper than music. Pete had no idea what Aaron could want to talk about that would make him uncomfortable... unless it was his past. Usually Peter had a hard time talking about his past and what happened to him. Peter licked his lips as Aaron threw on the tag that he wouldn't ask anything that he wouldn't be willing to answer himself. He wasn't sure if that should be calming or not. He didn't know what Aaron was willing to answer... so that meant that he still wasn't sure of the subject matter.
Peter nodded and sat down next to Aaron on the bench. "I'm... okay, Aaron. Really." He took a deep breath. "I've been off lately. I promise I'm not usually this... dull." Peter really wasn't that dull. He was like a little kid most of the time and he only acted grown up in the event that he had to or he felt like it. "But no... it's fine." Peter said with a nod, managing a half smile. "What is it that you want to talk about, Aaron?" Peter looked down to the dogs once more, waiting for Aaron to answer. He leaned forward, curving his back and resting his arms across his knees.

Devon had flat out told Landon to search the internet for some more 'revealing' pictures and all, which at first confused him, but after doing some research with someone he usually tried to avoid talking to he found exactly what he was hoping not to see. It would explain everything down to the tee of why Devon was the way he was, then maybe the two of them who both seemed to somewhat care for the male could help him out some.
When the responses came he held back a sigh of reassurance, glad to know that he was still going to stick around and wasn't in a complete mess, Aaron would just feel horrible if he dragged Peter into something when he wasn't feeling too well or seemed really bogged down by something in his life. However, when the mention of dull came up, he held back a sarcastic laugh and rolled his eyes, giving him a friendly glare.
"You, dull? I'm sorry Peter, but from the way you act and type, there is no way you can be dull. You have a past hidden in you that you don't want to talk about, much like myself, and I know not to ask you about it unless you were comfortable telling me as I would hope you would do the same for me."
Once the page loaded fully he carefully skimmed through the webpage until he found the blog he was looking for, opening up the page and carefully moving the laptop so Peter could see the screen as well. The typing had a lot of grammatical errors and all that could be corrected, but once he read further he would see that it belonged to a drug dealer who talked about a 'prize possession' of one of his favorite druggies. Then it had a video attachment, but he wasn't going to click the link, personally not wanting to see it again because it disturbed him.
"You and I seem to have something in common as well when it comes to Devon, we both want to help him to some degree. After a conversation between Landon and him I did some research with someone and we ran into this page. The blog is obviously just a general jist, but the video... you can see it if you want, I don't think I'd have to the heart to look at it again."
Biting his bottom lip nervously he offered the laptop to Peter so he could either read the blog better or view the video if he wanted, knowing well enough that if he did it would answer a lot about why Devon was the way he was. Multiple men, teaming up on him, bruises and scars on his body and only creating more for their own pleasure... it was ruthless, barbaric even. And it would show why Devon was so passive because he just took it with his 'mother' in the background, making sure he was 'behaving'.
